So I finally found my way here.
I added some of my not too bad photos so it does not look so empty.
Maybe I'll do some serious stuff in the future.. don't know.
Generally I'm more the writer, and I don't write in english, so... what should I upload?

In the meantime I'm just collecting.
If you like Fantasy and/or impressing, breathtaking works with brilliant colours, maybe my Favs are worth a look :)
And if you know a deviant whose style would fit in my collection, feel free to give me a hint.

If I seem a bit crazy to you about all those pictures, well... I guess you're right.. But I love the (graphical) work of others generally more than my own (that I'd never show publicly, i guess :D ). It inspires me! And I just can't get enough of it. sorry^^

Louis Malle: My dinner with André

Journal Entry: Wed Nov 25, 2009, 12:37 PM
Facebook l Gallery l dA Portfolio l Watch Me l Note Me

I was recently told to watch a movie for my course in cinematic science. But noone warned me. I did not know this was a movie that you cannot watch and then expect to be the same person afterwards that you have been before.

I found a little gap in my timetable in wich I could queeze the watching. O-tone, i.e. english, never been translated in any other language. A quite old and therefore not too "hollywodden" movie. No explosions, not always music under any scene. I like that.

It was a sensation. I'm still not finished about this movie in my inside and I feel I'll have difficulties to deal with it in a scientific way.

A strange composition from the start. The whole movie is about the dinner of the first-person narrator with a former friend of his, André. They're talking, talking about what he has done and experienced since their last meeting. That's in fact all that happens in this movie, you watch and listen to the two men, mostly to André.
And how they talk! It is somewhere between surrealistic, astonishing, philosiphical, inspiring, frightening, after all - awakening!
They are talking about life and about death and of importance of things. They are talking about how we live according to our roles instead of to what is inside us, about masks and about society. They are talking about how comfort and habitation are so a dangerous things to us these days, how we forget to live and forget about the world around us. They are talking about anyone, including - YOU!

Louis Malle has always been quite rich and did not have to bother about marketing, about sponsors, about how his work would be selled. He was allowed to do whatever he wanted to, without justifying and the need of success. He is to be envied.

If anyone is interested in thoughts like that, I really recommend this movie. It is shocking and still relieving. So it was, at least, towards me.

Danke sehr für das lesen die Kapitels, und für die Kommentar! Ich würdige es sehr :D Enschuldigung für meine schlechte Deutsch.. es war nie mein beste Schulefach :P Ich habe alle Vorschrifte forgessen..

(If you didn't understand anything of that tell me, I'll just say it in english =P)

Hihi :)

Fortunately I can read German better than write it =P

I did like German more than French in highschool though.. I just used to speak dutch in a german accent and got away with it most of the time. After my oral exam French my teacher said she hadn't understood a word of what I was saying, but it was so brave of me to try so let me pass :P (did I mention at that point I had had 6 years of french lessons? I probably shouldn't mention that too often though)
:iconforgottenchronica:
 Okay, so kann man es auch machen!

I had french quite some time, too. And I've always been good at pretending I knew what I was doing.
You know, once you had a new teacher, all you had to to was to convince him in the first few lessons that you knew anything he could ask.
Then the rest of the year was about sleeping... Psssst! :devilish:

Standing alone in the night,
no stars and no moon to guide me.
I’m living in a world without magic,
a world without hope.

Mother Earth is crying over her children
but nobody listens.
It’s the hour of the wolf
And there is no return.

A watch well deserved ;)
